Rental Policy
DEPOSIT: The rental charge plus deposit is taken in advance for the time period the customer anticipates, by cash or credit.
PAYMENT: We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Identification accepted: valid Ohio Driver's License, State ID, or Military ID. Returned Checks are subject to a $20.00 fee, in addition to the amount of the check, payable to Village Rental by cash or money order.
BILLING ACCOUNTS: For those with established credit who prefer to pay by statement, all charges during the month are due by the 10th of the following month. For those who pay by invoice, terms are net 30 days from invoice date. Finance charges of 1.52% on all past invoices. 18% annually.
CLEANING CHARGE: Please return equipment clean to avoid additional charges.
MAINTENANCE: Rental for more than one day may require customer to perform maintenance, such as checking oil levels, greasing, etc. On long-term rentals, we will have a service technician complete routine maintenance on a regular schedule.
EQUIPMENT FAILURE: If the item you rented is not operating properly, call us immediately. We will advise you what to do. You will not be charged for down-time due to equipment failure. We have the option to charge a service fee when the problem is caused by operator error.
DAMAGE / BREAKAGE: Customer is responsible for all damage and broken parts due to neglect, abuse, operator error, etc. Charges will be added to the invoice. Customer is responsible for all tire damage and repair.
FUEL: All equipment is rented with full fuel tanks. Customer is responsible for additional fuel. Equipment not returned with full tank will be filled and charged accordingly. If you are unsure of the correct fuel type, call us!
DELIVERY: Delivery is available to your home or jobsite. Rates vary by location. Please call for details. CUSTOMER PICKUP: We will assist you loading and unloading your vehicle. We are not responsible for damage to your vehicle.
RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
MINIMUM: The least amount of time and the lowest rate for equipment.
FOUR HOURS: Equipment taken out and returned within four hours the same day.
WORK DAY: Equipment taken out and returned the same day.
24 HOURS: 24 hour consecutive time period.
OVERNIGHT: Equipment taken out after 4:00 PM and returned by 8:00 AM next day (except Sunday).
WEEKLY: 7 consecutive days including rain days.
MONTHLY: 28 consecutive days including rain days.
WEEKEND: Out Friday after 4:00 PM and returned by 8:00 AM Monday = 2 DAY RENTAL.
Out Saturday before 12:00 NOON and returned by 8:00 AM Monday = 2 DAY RENTAL.
Out Saturday between NOON & 3:00 PM and returned by 8:00 AM Monday = 1-1/2 DAY RENTAL.
Out Saturday after 3:00 PM and returned by 8:00 AM Monday = 1 DAY RENTAL.
We charge for all time out including Sundays, holidays, rain days, and travel time. Save money by returning equipment. Prices subject to change without notice.
